Church, Cars, and Chillin

On June 24, 2012  I woke up to James wanting blueberry pancakes so i made breakfast for us before going to Church. for those that know me  I love breakfast!!! Anyway, The Love Chilliwack Event ended with a Church service with many of the local Churches gathering at the Prospera Center for a time of Worship and Message.  It was good to be among many other believers worshipping together and hearing a message from one of the local Pastors.  What a great way to start the day and also to start the week.  After Church we went right to the local car show that was held in down town Chilliwack.  Honestly, I personally havent seen a car show this large in the states especially in Toms River, New Jersey.  I had a great time walking around looking at all the Classic, Antique, and Custom cars with friends and enjoyed a great lunch together.  After we walked around, ate, walked around more, and had ice cream  we dropped friends off and got ready to go to Hugh and Sandras house for dinner and fellowship. I left there encouraged and uplifted by friends used by God.  Thanks

The Churches have been doing the Love Chilliwack Event for over 10 years.  I am glad that I had the opportunity to be a part of it.  Great job Churches of Chilliwack!!!


After Church James and I went to pick up friends and go to the Car Show together.  The plan is to look at cars DUH!! grab something to eat Fast because IM STARVING!!! and look at more cars before having Ice Cream YUM!!!

LOVE CHILLIWACK, BC DAY

On Satuday June 23,2012  The local Churches of the city of Chilliwack, BC in Canada joined together to reach out to their community.  It was a day filled with events and acts of kindness to all those living in the community.  I was so blessed to be a part of that day and meet alot of great people, young and old. This event concluded with the local Churches gathering on Sunday morning on June 24, 2012 for one large service with worship and a message. Enjoy the pictures!!!

Car washes were always fun with the youth group.

Our last stop and my favorite part of the whole love Chilliwack was going to the nursing home and seeing the smiles on all the men and women that live there.  They are all so precious and love to have visitors.  Jamie, another new friend I made here, spoke to all the residents.  Awesome job he did!!  After he spoke there was a time for prayer and meeting each person along with each woman receiving a flower and each man getting a large cookie.  YUM!!!

What a great man of God!! His Great Grand Father worked with Charles Spurgeon,

who was a Great Preacher, and his Grand Father was saved at one of Charles Spurgeons services.

Looking Forward to going to breakfast with him and his wife and hearing great stories of revival.
